Staff / Principal Security Engineer (Identity Engineering)

I’m partnering with one of the most ambitious engineering teams in financial services, looking for a Staff/Principal Security Engineer to help build the next generation of identity infrastructure.

This isn’t a traditional IAM role.

I’m looking for engineers who’ve designed, built and operated identity platforms, not simply implemented IAM products.

You’ll be working on problems such as:

• Customer authentication and authorisation
• Human and machine identities
• Service-to-service authentication
• Secrets and key management
• Cloud-native identity
• Security platforms that support engineers building at scale

This is a genuine engineering role where you’ll be writing production code, designing distributed systems and helping shape the future security architecture of a rapidly growing business.

I’d love to hear from engineers who have experience with:

• Engineering authentication and authorisation systems
• Building identity platforms in complex, high-scale environments
• Writing production code
• Distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and modern security architecture

If your background is in digital assets, smart contracts or custody platforms, I’d also be very keen to speak.

Hybrid out of New York City – $500k-$700k TC
