Senior SRE/DevSecOps (AWS Expert)

My client is a high-growth SaaS DevSecOps platform and they are looking to hire a Senior SRE who has the ability to take the lead on projects. Candidates aren’t getting past the first interview and are failing on AWS questions, so it’s extremely important that when applying for this role, you can clearly demonstrate that you have worked on multiple AWS projects and have the ability to pass a technical AWS interview. If you can’t or don’t have the experience yet, please do not apply as you won’t be considered. It’s also important to note that due to the projects my client works on, you must be a US Citizen.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure in AWS using Terraform
• Building robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
• Monitoring and improving performance and availability across environments
• Troubleshooting incidents and driving root cause analysis
• Working with engineering teams to bake in reliability from day one
• Automating manual workflows and mentoring teammates along the way
• Participating in on-call rotation (weekends and holidays may be included)

What I’m looking for:

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps, or DevOps roles
• Deep experience with AWS, plus 3+ years with Kubernetes
• Strong Terraform/IaC and CI/CD background
• Solid scripting in Bash and Python
• Experience with monitoring/logging stacks (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Understanding of secure environments and compliance (ISO, SOC2, etc.)
• US Citizen only (this is non-negotiable)

Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 depending on experience
