If you’re a Senior Security Engineer who’s always been just as comfortable talking to Linux or Platform Engineers as you are talking to other security professionals, keep reading.

I’m working with a client that’s solving some incredibly difficult engineering challenges, and they’re looking for someone who enjoys building security that enables innovation rather than getting in the way of it.

You’ll probably be working today in a company where technology is the business. Maybe that’s a hedge fund, a FAANG, a cloud provider, AI company or another engineering-led environment where Linux sits at the heart of everything.

What they’re not looking for is someone who’s spent their career specialising in just one area of security.

Instead, they want someone who’s built broad experience across security engineering, understands Linux properly and enjoys working across infrastructure, automation, threat detection, vulnerability management and engineering projects.

AI is becoming a huge part of their environment, particularly agentic AI. You don’t need to have spent years securing AI systems already, but you do need to be excited by where the technology is heading and want to help solve the security challenges that come with it.

The engineering bar is seriously high and I’m looking to speak to those in the top 1% to 2% of Security Engineers.
