Base Salary: $300,000+

Additional Compensation: Enhanced commission structure on originated revenue, bonus potential

We are working with a specialist US consulting firm looking to appoint a nationally recognised Senior Managing Director to help lead and shape its Digital Forensics practice.

This is a senior practice-building position for an established expert who already has a significant reputation in the market, a substantial portable book of business and a strong track record of being retained on high-stakes litigation and investigations.

The successful individual will combine technical credibility, expert testimony, business development and practice leadership.

The opportunity

You will have significant influence over the direction and growth of the Digital Forensics practice while continuing to lead the most complex client engagements.

The role will include:

• Act as a senior subject matter authority in Digital Forensics and electronic evidence
• Lead high-profile, high-value and multi-jurisdictional investigations and litigation matters
• Serve as a retained and rebuttal expert on significant disputes
• Produce authoritative expert reports and provide deposition and courtroom testimony
• Maintain senior relationships with leading law firms, Fortune 500 companies and other major clients
• Grow and maintain a substantial personally attributable book of business
• Generate new opportunities through your own market reputation and client relationships
• Set practice strategy, market positioning and service-development priorities
• Mentor and develop other Directors and Managing Directors
• Play a senior role in hiring, talent development and wider business strategy
• Represent the practice through speaking engagements, publications and industry leadership

What we are looking for

• Approximately 25+ years of experience within Digital Forensics, forensic technology or electronic evidence
• A long-term career within professional services or consulting
• Nationally recognised subject matter expertise
• Extensive expert testimony and cross-examination experience
• Experience on significant litigation, regulatory and investigative matters
• Established relationships across leading law firms and major corporate clients
• A demonstrated history of building and developing forensic practices
• Strong market visibility through speaking, publishing or recognised expert work
• A highly portable, individually attributable book of business

At Senior Managing Director level, the expectation is approximately $2.5M+ in portable annual revenue, supported by a reputation that generates opportunities independently of the firm you currently work for.
