A fast-growing B2B SaaS company is hiring a Principal Product Designer to help shape the future of a cloud-based platform used in complex, high-stakes professional workflows. The business combines software and services to support users managing data-heavy processes in a regulated environment.

The opportunity

This is a senior individual contributor role with high visibility across Product and Engineering. You will lead the design of complex end-to-end workflows, influence product direction, and help define how AI is used within the platform and within the design process.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead design strategy for complex workflow-heavy product areas
• Create intuitive user experiences for multi-step, data-rich journeys
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership on priorities and trade-offs
• Build scalable patterns, information architecture, and design system standards
• Use prototyping to communicate ideas, test concepts, and align stakeholders
• Help establish AI design patterns, guardrails, and best practice
• Conduct or direct research to understand user needs and pain points
• Raise the quality bar across product design

What they’re looking for

• 10+ years in product design
• 2+ years at Principal, Staff, or equivalent level
• Strong experience designing complex B2B SaaS products
• Background in workflow-heavy, data-rich, or regulated environments
• Strong prototyping and systems-thinking capability
• Experience with Figma and AI-assisted design tools
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Legal tech, compliance, or document management experience is helpful but not essential
