PAM Engineer

I’m working with a global investment bank in London that is looking to hire an experienced Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer into its Cybersecurity team.

This is a hands-on engineering position focused on the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of PAM capabilities across the organisation.

I’m looking for someone who has strong technical experience with enterprise PAM platforms, ideally CyberArk, and is comfortable working across everything from platform engineering and automation through to integrations, credential management and troubleshooting.

Required Experience: 

• Strong hands-on PAM engineering experience within a large enterprise environment.
• Experience with PAM platforms such as CyberArk, including privileged account onboarding, Safe design, credential rotation, reconciliation and privileged session management.
• Experience implementing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining PAM infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across authentication, failed password rotations, connectivity and integration issues.
• Automation and scripting experience using PowerShell, Python and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating PAM platforms with Active Directory, applications, databases, SIEM and other enterprise technologies.
• Good technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux and networking.
• Experience with platform resilience, disaster recovery and change management.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Beneficial Experience: 

• Experience working within financial services or another large, regulated enterprise.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Experience integrating PAM with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms.
• Relevant PAM, Microsoft security or Cybersecurity certifications.

The role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of PAM capabilities, improve existing platforms, introduce automation and work closely with infrastructure, identity, application and security teams.

It’s a good opportunity for an experienced PAM Engineer who wants to remain hands-on while taking greater ownership of platform engineering and improvement.

Salary: £70,000–£80,000 base

Location: London – 2 days onsite per week
