I’m working with a financial services organisation in the heart of New York City that’s looking to appoint a Head of Platform Security.
My client operates a highly sophisticated, large-scale Linux environment and is looking for someone to lead its platform security engineering function, working closely with some of the organisation’s most senior Linux and infrastructure engineers. You’ll play a key role in influencing security architecture, tackling complex Linux security challenges and shaping the future of its platform security capabilities.
Although this is a leadership position requiring proven management experience, it’s still a deeply technical, hands-on role. You’ll need to be comfortable working closely with engineers, getting into the detail of Linux security, challenging technical decisions and solving complex security problems.
Required Experience:
Financial services experience isn’t essential. What is essential is that you can demonstrate genuine technical depth in Linux security, proven engineering management experience and the ability to operate effectively across a highly sophisticated engineering organisation.
This is an opportunity to lead talented engineers, tackle challenging Linux security problems and have a meaningful influence on platform security architecture.
The position offers hybrid working in New York City and a compensation package that competes with leading AI companies. Very happy to discuss this in our first call together.
