SOC Engineer

I’m currently partnered with a leading cryptocurrency firm headquartered in Amsterdam. Following a successful placement of their Incident Response Lead, they’ve now engaged me to help them hire a SOC Engineer on an exclusive basis.

The client currently outsources their 1st and 2nd line SOC functions, so this role will sit directly under the Lead Incident Responder, focusing on strengthening their internal detection and response capabilities. Experience working on live incidents would be beneficial, though not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Splunk, DLP, and Insider Threats, and any background within FinTech or crypto will be a strong advantage. Automation and scripting in a Linux environment will also play a key role in this position.

• Hybrid: My client would be looking for this individual to come onto site 1-2 days a week in Amsterdam
