Senior Security Engineer/Architect (VP level)

I am representing a very prestigious organization who sits at the forefront of technology innovation and a leader in financial services. This is a rare opportunity to join their information security program where you will report directly to the CISO and contribute to wide range of technical projects across the infrastructure security space.

I am looking for someone who can really drive Infrastructure Security Projects, working on segmentation, automation, alerting, and monitoring across their Linux-heavy environment. Zero Trust experience with network protocols, segmentation, and infrastructure to improve security posture, would be of high interest to my client. They also have some generative AI projects and experience securing infrastructure for generative AI and other cutting-edge projects would also be of interest.

Who are we looking for:

• A seasoned security engineer with experience between engineering and architecture. At least 10 years of experience.
• Strong Linux background, highly valued for upcoming projects.
• Skilled communicator, must have the ability to break down complex technical concepts
• Programming knowledge, you don’t need to be a developer, but you must be able to write scripts and code to automate security solutions.
• Hands-on technologist, you execute on ideas, not just theorize.
• Adaptable & smart, you thrive in fast-moving environments and pick up new skills quickly.

This role is based in NYC with a requirement of 3 days onsite per week.

$250k-$300k base salary plus guaranteed bonus and excellent benefits.
