A highly specialized law firm focused on Information Law is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support and advance firmwide business development initiatives. This role partners closely with senior attorneys and firm leadership to identify growth opportunities, manage strategic pursuits, and enhance long-term client relationships.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned law-firm or professional-services BD professional with strong judgment, excellent execution skills, and the ability to operate confidently in a sophisticated, high-stakes environment.
Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or pursuit management within:
- A law firm, or
- A professional services environment
- Demonstrated experience managing:
- Complex pitches and RFPs
- Strategic client pursuits
- Experience supporting conferences, events, and client engagement initiatives
- Experience developing client-facing programs such as webinars, CLEs, alerts, or thought leadership
- Exposure to information-focused legal practices (eDiscovery, data privacy, information governance, regulatory, or technology-driven practices) strongly preferred
