Lead Systems Software Developer – Network Automation

We are looking for a Senior Systems Software Developer to shape and lead my clients global network automation strategy and lead a global team of junior developers in building tools/automation for their networking infrastructure.

The candidate my client is looking for will combine deep programming expertise with a strong understanding of networking infrastructure and have the leadership skills to guide a distributed team of junior developers. This includes:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, ideally focussed towards building tools for network engineers.
• Proficiency in Python and Go (or similar languages).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and modern software development practices.

Location: New York City – 3 days onsite

Salary: $350k-$600k TC
