We are working with a top-tier U.S. law firm focused exclusively on eDiscovery, information governance, and data strategy. This firm advises on some of the most complex discovery matters in the market and is expanding its Review & Analytics function.

This is a permanent, senior-level role for an accomplished eDiscovery attorney who wants to own review strategy, lead high-risk privilege decisions, and work deeply with AI-enabled document review workflows on sophisticated matters (MDLs, Second Requests, large investigations).

The Role

This position sits at the center of complex discovery matters and is responsible for ensuring that large-scale document review is accurate, defensible, and strategically aligned.

You will:

  • Lead second-level and privilege review on high-volume, high-stakes matters
  • Design and oversee AI-forward review workflows
  • Supervise and guide review teams and vendors
  • Develop review protocols, training, and QC standards
  • Partner with senior attorneys on discovery strategy, negotiations, and risk management
  • Act as the legal authority translating technology outputs into defensible legal decisions

This is not contract review or traditional litigation associate work, this role is about judgment, ownership, and accountability.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 10+ years of experience leading complex document reviews
  • Has personally owned privilege calls, privilege logs, and second-level review
  • Is deeply comfortable with Relativity and modern review platforms
  • Has designed and defended AI-driven review workflows (TAR, analytics, CAL, clustering, etc.)
  • Understands discovery case law, standards, and regulatory expectations
  • Is calm under pressure and confident making difficult judgment calls
  • Enjoys mentoring others and raising the quality of work around them

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active U.S. bar admission (or willingness to obtain additional admission if required)
  • Advanced experience with Relativity and review analytics tools
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Why This Opportunity

  • Work exclusively on complex, high-impact discovery matters
  • Use cutting-edge AI tools in real, defensible legal workflows
  • Fully remote environment with a mature, collaborative team
  • Compensation with performance-based upside
  • Long-term career opportunity for attorneys who want to specialize and lead, not rotate endlessly between matters
