A leading technology-driven investment firm is seeking an AI Security Lead to shape its strategy for secure, responsible, and high-impact adoption of AI technologies. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of engineering, architecture, governance, and executive advisory.
What you’ll do
- Guide AI governance decisions across both technical and non-technical teams
- Evaluate emerging AI tools, agentic IDEs, and vendors to determine fit, risk, and impact
- Partner with engineering groups to design architectures for AI-enabled workflows
- Operate in areas where existing tooling or frameworks may be undefined, helping establish them
- Communicate complex AI concepts and risks in clear, accessible terms to senior leadership
- Drive conversations around opportunity cost, technical trade-offs, and long-term strategy
- Influence decision-making across the firm by building strong cross-functional relationships
What we’re looking for
- Deep, hands-on experience with AI tooling (beyond simple LLM interaction)
- Understanding of agentic IDEs, sandboxes, modern AI workflows, and how these systems operate under the hood
- Strong reasoning around data flow, architecture, vendor selection, and AI risk
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences with clarity
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and advising at an enterprise level
- High intellectual curiosity and a proactive, pragmatic mindset
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments where solutions aren’t pre-defined
