AI Security Engineer (Autonomous Systems)

My client is looking for a high-end security engineer who codes and automates everything, works in Linux-heavy environments, and is starting to engage with AI and complex systems security.

This is not a traditional security role. The best candidate is not just a security engineer with strong technical skills, but someone who sits at the intersection of security, engineering, and emerging AI systems, someone who can think deeply about how modern, autonomous technologies introduce entirely new security challenges.

You’ll play a key role in designing and evolving security across cutting-edge systems, with a particular focus on securing agentic AI workflows and infrastructure.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Linux-based security engineer, comfortable working close to infrastructure and systems
• A balanced offensive and defensive mindset, understanding how systems break and how to secure them
• Deep experience with automation and coding, building tools, not relying on manual processes
• A systems thinker (DevSecOps / platform security) who embeds security into pipelines and workflows
• Curiosity or early experience in AI, machine learning, or complex distributed systems

This is an opportunity to work on highly sophisticated technology in an environment where security is deeply integrated into engineering, not an afterthought.

My client operates 3 days per week onsite and 3 days working from home.

$300k$600k base salary + bonus and excellent benefits.
