Senior Security Engineer

My client’s Network Security team isn’t responsible for maintaining or deploying firewall rules, they focus on securing and protecting the network. This includes engineering solutions such as deploying an RBI (Remote Browser Isolation) solution, among other security technologies.

This is a hands-on engineering role in a small, global team with significant technical responsibilities. It’s not an architect position, and around 20% of the role involves operational tasks such as deployments, configurations, and debugging issues when solutions aren’t working as expected.

A passionate security technologist energized by tackling security challenges in high-paced, demanding environments.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
The ability to articulate technical decisions, candidates have missed out on offers simply because they couldn’t clearly explain what they were doing, why, and how.
A deep understanding of risk, my client needs someone who deploys solutions based on security reasoning, not just because they were told to.
A fast learner who can adapt to new security technologies and work on critical network security systems in a complex technical environment.

London-based role (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) in a brilliant office with a highly social culture.
